Beverley Holidays highlighted its continued investment in the local tourism economy when it welcomed Steve Darling, MP for Torbay and Councillor Swithin Long for a visit to the park.
During the visit, the pair toured the park and saw its recently completed luxury lodge development, alongside a range of reinvestment and refurbishment projects carried out over recent years.
The visit provided an opportunity to demonstrate how ongoing investment in holiday accommodation, facilities and the visitor experience can deliver benefits beyond the park itself.
By continuing to develop and improve its offering, Beverley Holidays is helping to sustain local employment, create opportunities for suppliers and businesses, and attract visitors who contribute to the wider economy through spending in Torbay and the surrounding area.
Discussions during the visit also highlighted the important role holiday parks play within tourism destinations. Beyond providing accommodation, parks support jobs, encourage visitor spending and help sustain the businesses and communities that rely on a thriving tourism industry.
By welcoming local representatives and showcasing its recent developments, Beverley Holidays demonstrated how long-term investment in the holiday park sector can support tourism, employment and economic growth across the region.
This is part of the #ParksMakePlaces campaign, celebrating how holiday parks support people, places and the planet.
