Ayr Holiday Park has helped support a community summer fair bringing local residents, businesses, charities and community groups together in St Ives.
Organised by Friends of Ayr Field, with support from Ayr Holiday Park and St Ives Town Council, the summer fair offered a full day of entertainment and activities for local families.
The event was officially opened by the Mayor of St Ives, before St Ives Town Band kicked off a varied programme of live entertainment. Performances throughout the day included Meor Voices, solo musician and guitarist Rick Chappell, line dancers and a ukulele group, alongside children’s races and a range of family activities.
Community organisations, charities and local businesses were also represented with stalls around the field, alongside food stands and other attractions, giving them an opportunity to engage with people from across the local area.
The day concluded with the Friends of Ayr Field raffle draw, following several hours of entertainment that brought different parts of the St Ives community together.
By supporting events such as the summer fair, Ayr Holiday Park is helping create opportunities for local organisations, businesses and residents to connect, while contributing to activities that make St Ives a vibrant place to live and visit.
It is another example of the role holiday parks can play beyond welcoming visitors, actively supporting the places and communities they are part of.
