Curtains rise on family’s new £2m Worcestershire luxury holiday park

The family behind one of Britain’s oldest and most respected holiday park names, Allens Caravans, has opened a new Worcestershire luxury holiday park development with its focus fixed firmly on the future.

Bredon View Holiday Park near Pershore in Worcestershire is offering the chance to own a luxury holiday lodge where families can enjoy the ultimate staycation experience.

£2m investment in Worcestershire

The £2 million-plus holiday development, located in tranquil countryside near the River Avon, brings to 13 the number of holiday parks owned by the group in the West Midlands and Wales.

Allens Caravans can trace its origins back to the mid-1930s when founder Bill Allen first began retailing touring caravans, moving later into the buying and developing of parks.

Its portfolio includes both holiday and residential parks, and is today run by Bill’s grandchildren and other family members from the firm’s HQ in Henley-in-Arden, Warwickshire.

Covering 80 acres of landscaped grounds, Bredon View Holiday Park brings together beautiful natural surroundings with top-end accommodation and facilities.

Pampered Worcestershire luxury holiday breaks

Private hot tubs and other pampering touches are available, and there is also a clubhouse and bar plus an acclaimed 18-hole golf course for use by holiday home owners.

Director Joe Folkes says there is already a high level of interest in the lodges from people keen to find the perfect escape for holidays and breaks throughout the four seasons:

“We began development work on Bredon View just over a year ago, and the substantial investment we’ve made in creating a truly first-class holiday environment is now very apparent.

“The past year has reminded everyone of the importance of spending more time together, and in enjoying the mental and physical health benefits of coming closer to nature.

“Bredon View provides just those opportunities in glorious rural surroundings, and with a luxurious and full-specified holiday lodge to return to each day.

Staycations in Worcestershire luxury holiday park

“We’ve found across all our holiday parks that people are saying how much more relaxing they find staycations, and now want to make them a permanent part of their lifestyles.

“Bredon View makes such regular get-aways both practical and affordable, and without the need to sacrifice any home comforts,” added Joe.

Holiday open weekend

Holiday caravan homes on the park range from £65,000 to £250,000 – and there will be a chance to take a look inside the different models during an open weekend later this month.

Scheduled for 19-20 June, the holiday park promises a relaxing day out with no sales pressure, and the chance to explore the grounds and facilities of the park.
