New Forest Tree House Stays Bring Booking Boom

Fairytale holidays bring bookings boom to New Forest tree house stays. Families are getting in line for the chance spend a bird’s-eye holiday nestled among a canopy of trees at Shorefield Country Park in the New Forest.

That’s because the Milford-on-Sea holiday park has decided to branch out into treehouse accommodation, and the fairytale experience is being booked as far ahead as 2022.

Fairytale Tree House stays

The two timber treehouses – Silvertree and Coppertree with their striking turrets and quirky windows – can each sleep up to six people.

But the promise of top-end luxury is anything but a fairytale, for they both feature five-star fittings and furnishings with which any princess would be delighted.

They include master bedrooms with stunning freestanding bathtubs and monsoon showers, spacious living areas, and gorgeous views across the surrounding woodland.

Step outside and there’s generous wooden decking for relaxing and al-fresco dining, complete with an outdoor pizza oven, sun loungers, BBQ and super-warm heaters.

Each treehouse even has its own private hot-tub in which guests can relax at the end of the day.

Ambitious Tree House Development

Simon Pollock, managing director of the family business founded over 60 years ago, says that sustainability was a key part of the ambitious treehouse development:

“This project has been tremendously exciting for Shorefield Country Park from start to finish, and has been many years in the planning and making,” he said.

“It was really important to us that we created a unique design that allows our guests to embrace nature from up close within the tree canopy,

“But it also needed to fit sensitively within an area of tree protection, and without harming the ecology of this beautiful holiday park in the New Forest.

Capturing the imagination for holidays

“The completed result has achieved all that we could ask for, and we’re delighted that it seems to have captured the imagination of so many people!” added Simon.

The holiday park has achieved a number of environmental accolades for its care of the natural world, including the David Bellamy Conservation Award at its top gold level.

Just a short stroll from the beach, Shorefield Country Park is part of family-owned Shorefield Holidays which has seven other top-rated parks along the south coast.
