Bigland Hall Caravan Park: Quietly Making a Big Difference

At Bigland Hall Caravan Park, community care doesn’t always make headlines – but it certainly makes an impact.

The park has invested more than £60,000 in long-term local support, funding a brand-new school entrance with custom steel gates and overseeing vital sewer upgrades that have kept the village problem-free. Behind the scenes, they also manage three underground culverts to help protect homes from flooding- all at their own expense.

Key Achievements:-

• They fully funded and built a new entrance for their local primary school – complete with bespoke steel gates featuring the school’s owl logo – at no cost to the school.
• When the sewer system needed replacing, the park stepped in to plan, oversee, and manage the work. The school paid the basic costs, but everything else was taken care of, and the system hasn’t blocked since.
• The park now privately manages three underground culverts to help prevent flooding in the village.

It’s a powerful reminder that sometimes the biggest differences are made quietly, through steady, practical support.
