A popular lake district campsite near Keswick has been named the best in Europe by camping enthusiasts, earning international recognition for its location, facilities and hospitality.
Castlerigg Hall Holiday Park has received the accolade following votes from camping fans who praised not only the stunning surroundings but also the warm welcome provided by the park team.
Award Recognition for a Leading Lake District Campsite
David Jackson of Castlerigg Hall said the award was especially meaningful because it reflected the full guest experience.
“There are stunning mountain and lake views from our grounds, and it is the ideal starting point for both high and low level walks in the surrounding countryside,” he said.
