Children cheer for Devon Holiday Park Entertainment

Devon Holiday Park Entertainment

For over 65 years, Beverley Holidays in Paignton has been setting the stage for fundraising and community initiatives in its popular seaside location. This summer, however, the park raised the curtain on a very special Devon Holiday Park Entertainment Preview aimed exclusively at almost 200 children from a local primary school.

The youngsters were treated to a free performance of Jack and the Beanstalk pantomime, delivered by Beverley’s talented in-house entertainment team

Received with cheers and laughter by its Year 2 and 3 guests from White Rock school, the lively pantomime took place in the holiday park’s Starlight entertainment centre.

The pupils were receiving a sneak preview of one of the many productions which Beverley has been staging this summer for its holiday guests and owners.

Adding their applause from the audience and showing their support for Beverley’s community-focussed events were Deputy Mayor of Torbay Barbara Lewis, and Councillor Chris Lewis.

Speaking at the event, Barbara said: “I’m always incredibly proud to see the spirit of generosity and togetherness alive in our area. I want to say a heartfelt thank you to the team at Beverley for going above and beyond in bringing a little extra magic to our young people. The children really enjoyed the pantomime as part of the Devon Holiday Park Entertainment.”

Fun filled Panto Performance

Claire Flower, Director of Beverley Holidays and BH&HPA Vice Chair, said: “It was a real pleasure to welcome local youngsters to this fun-filled panto performance.

“As a family-run business now in its fourth generation, giving back to our community is something we really value – and by the sound of the laughter, the children had a great time!”

Beverley Holidays, added Claire, is deeply committed to supporting local community work, and frequently partners with charities such as Play Torbay which helps young people access safe and inclusive play opportunities. More info – https://www.beverley-holidays.co.uk
