Searles Leisure Resort in Hunstanton Awarded the AA’s Top Platinum Rating
Staff and the family owners of Searles Leisure Resort in Hunstanton, Norfolk, are celebrating after the park was awarded the AA’s five-star Platinum rating for 2026/2027. It is the highest quality grade the AA awards, and one of tourism’s most prestigious accolades.
From AA Gold to AA Platinum
Last year, Searles achieved a Gold award from the AA after inspectors assessed its facilities, services, hospitality and guest reviews. This year, the inspectors decided Searles had met the threshold for elevation to the AA’s top honour, an accolade shared by only a small number of parks across the UK.
A Team Effort at Searles
Jo Searle, finance director at Searles Leisure Resort, paid tribute to the park’s staff for their part in achieving the latest AA award:
“Moving from Gold to Platinum is something the whole team can be proud of, and we offer every member our heartfelt congratulations.
“The award recognises the care and effort that goes into looking after Searles, and giving the people who spend their holidays here the best possible experience,” said Jo.
£2 Million Investment at Searles Leisure Resort
Earlier this year, Searles announced a £2 million investment in its business. This included new offices and a holiday home sales showground. The park has consistently reinvested in its guest facilities since it was founded in 1954, and today it is recognised as one of North Norfolk’s top holiday destinations.
