Kendal Caravans helped raise £3,175 for Donna’s Dream House, a Blackpool-based charity providing free holidays for children and teenagers with life-threatening illnesses and their families.

The money was raised through a charity golf day at Carus Green Golf Club in Kendal, sponsored by the family-owned caravan business.

More than 40 players took part in the event, which was organised by longstanding Kendal Caravans customers Chris and Sarah Taylor, with support from Vanda and Andrew Richardson of AR Golf Events.

Businesses from across Blackpool and Cumbria also backed the day, helping the fundraising total pass £3,000 and demonstrating the difference that can be made when local businesses and communities come together.

The money raised will help Donna’s Dream House continue providing free holidays for children, teenagers and their families, giving them the opportunity to spend valuable time together, create positive memories and enjoy a break from the pressures of treatment and everyday life.

Mark Molyneaux, Managing Director of Kendal Caravans, thanked everyone who helped make the event a success, including the players, organisers, local businesses and the company’s Blackpool team.

Alongside the fundraising, the day featured prizes and displays from Kendal Caravans, including the chance to win a Swift Sprite touring caravan for a hole-in-one.

For Kendal Caravans, the event continued a wider tradition of supporting charitable causes and using its connections across the holiday park and caravan industry to make a positive difference.

By helping fund holidays for families facing extremely difficult circumstances, Kendal Caravans demonstrated how businesses connected to the holiday park sector can help create opportunities for people to spend meaningful time together and enjoy experiences they might otherwise miss.
