A family-run Hampshire glamping park near Winchester is celebrating after being recognised among the world’s highest-rated tourism businesses in the Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice Awards 2026.
Hampshire Hills has received the prestigious accolade following outstanding reviews from guests, placing the park among Tripadvisor’s top-rated holiday destinations.

Presented annually, the Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice Awards are based on millions of reviews and opinions submitted by travellers from around the world.

A Transformed Countryside Retreat Near Winchester
Located in the village of Bighton close to the South Downs National Park, Hampshire Hills is owned by Shaun Ascough and his wife Michele.
The couple purchased the park, then known as Two Hoots Camping Site, in 2020 and have since invested significant time and effort into transforming the business.
Today the park offers touring caravan and campervan pitches alongside a growing collection of luxury glamping retreats surrounded by peaceful countryside and abundant wildlife.
