A family-run Dorset holiday park has once again been voted the county’s favourite destination for caravan and motorhome holidays by readers of two of the UK’s leading touring publications. South Lytchett Manor near Poole has been named the Dorset regional winner in the Top 100 Sites Awards run by Practical Caravan and Practical Motorhome.

Dorset Holiday Park Wins Regional Title for Second Year

The park emerged as Dorset’s overall winner in the annual national readers’ poll carried out by the two magazines for the second consecutive year. The accolades continued with South Lytchett Manor also securing a place in the magazines’ national league tables celebrating parks that deliver exceptional holiday experiences.

National Recognition for Quality and Hospitality

“We are absolutely thrilled and extremely proud to retain our title as Dorset Regional Winner,” said Megan Aspden, director at South Lytchett Manor.

“To also be recognised across three major national categories is a fantastic start to our 2026 season at South Lytchett which could be one of our busiest on record.

“These awards are especially important to us as they are based on the feedback of guests who have stayed on the park, and who were clearly delighted with what they found.

“Their votes were not just for our quality standards, but also the friendliness and hospitality provided by our staff team, and they deserve a big round of applause for their efforts.”

Over the past two decades, the family has continued to invest in the park, helping establish South Lytchett Manor as one of Dorset’s most highly regarded holiday destinations.
