Mercia Marina

Park Description

Nestled in 77 acres of beautiful Derbyshire countryside, Mercia Marina is a unique waterside destination where you can shop, dine, stay, explore and simply enjoy time by the water. With colourful narrowboats, open countryside and a relaxed holiday atmosphere, it offers a little taste of the seaside in the heart of Derbyshire. Spend the day browsing independent boutiques and specialist retailers, enjoy award-winning dining, or settle down for coffee and cake overlooking the 24-acre lake. Take a waterside stroll, explore the nature trails or simply watch marina life go by. Now an established destination in its own right, Mercia Marina continues to evolve with The Promenade – an exciting new waterside development featuring luxury two and three-bedroom apartments alongside new places to shop, eat and enjoy. For a longer escape, stay in one of the beautiful holiday lodges overlooking the water. The marina is a VisitEngland 5-Star Gold holiday park and a proud winner of the prestigious 2026 VisitEngland ROSE Award, recognising outstanding service, warm welcomes and exceptional visitor experiences. With free-to-use bikes, activities, shops and restaurants on your doorstep, Mercia Marina is also perfectly placed for exploring the Peak District and many of Derbyshire’s best-loved attractions. Whether you come for lunch, a leisurely day out, a waterside break or somewhere rather special to call home, Mercia Marina is a destination to discover, enjoy and return to.
