Our on-site “team” extends to a range of animals in our petting farm, including goats, pigs, alpacas, Shetland pony and our noisiest resident Coco the donkey. Children are welcome to join in the animal feeding.
Our 5-star amenities include a spacious indoor campers’ kitchen with vending machines, table and chairs, microwave, toaster, kettle and freezer. There are books, games, DVDs, maps and information to help guests get the most out of their holiday. There are baths as well as showers in the ladies toilets, as well as a family accessible bathroom. Underfloor heating and music complete the picture. We have recently added a state-of-the-art dog wash so your animal can feel as pampered as you do.Located around a mile from Unesco Hadrian’s Wall in the heart of the Northumberland National Park, our central location allows easy access East and West to the Northumberland coast

Dark sky friendly so perfect for stargazing. Family friendly - animal petting farm and children's playground. Dog friendly with large scenic dog walk. Touring and tent pitches with electric, family friendly Wigwam cabins (some with toilet and hot tub), luxury adults only en-suite Castle Pods with hot tub and lodge with hot tub. 5-star amenity block with indoor campers kitchen and sauna available for exclusive hire. Small, licensed shop selling BBQ and breakfast packs and local produce. BBQ hut for hire. Quiet site policy after 10.30pm. Pub selling food and real ales within 0.5 miles.

Directions To The Park

Take the A69 to Haltwhistle. Then follow the brown signs up Shield Hill. (No caravans - use B6318 to Milecastle Inn).
