Roman attractions of Hadrian’s Wall are all easily accessible by foot, bike, AD122 bus (which stops at the campsite entrance) or car.

Dog friendly with large scenic dog walk, enclosed dog exercise field and hot water dog wash. Touring and tent pitches with electric, family friendly Wigwam cabins (some with toilet and hot tub), luxury adults only en-suite Castle Pods with hot tub and lodge with hot tub. 5-star amenity block with indoor campersâ kitchen and sauna available for exclusive hire. Small, licensed shop selling BBQ and breakfast packs and local produce. BBQ hut for hire. Quiet site policy after 10.30pm. Pub selling food and real ales within 0.5 miles. Haltwhistle 1.5 miles.

Directions To The Park

Take the A69 to Haltwhistle. Then follow the brown signs up Shield Hill. (No caravans - use B6318 to Milecastle Inn).
