Hawthorns Caravan Park sits in a landscaped valley between the villages of Nether Kellet and Over Kellet, five minutes from junction 35 of the M6 on the North Lancashire and South Lakes border. It's an ideal base for the Lake District, the Yorkshire Dales, historic Lancaster and the Morecambe Bay coast.

An exclusive five-star park, Hawthorns has been owned and run by the Wright family for more than 35 years. The park is for holiday home owners only — no hire fleet, no subletting and no touring pitches — so it stays peaceful all season.

The grounds are surrounded by bluebell woods and woodland walks, a wildlife and flora glade, a butterfly garden, a nine-hole putting green and a library, with full-fibre Wi-Fi (1000Mbps) throughout. Dogs are welcome, up to two per home.

New and pre-owned static caravans are for sale with prices published on the park's website. The season runs from the 1st March to 3rd January, and 2026 site fees are £4,475–£5,190 including VAT, rates, water and grounds maintenance.

Directions To The Park

Leave the M6 at Junction 35 (Carnforth) and turn right onto the B6254. Cross back over the motorway and take the first left for Nether Kellet. Follow the lane into the village to the T-junction and turn left — the park entrance is a quarter of a mile on the left. Satnav: LA6 1EA.
