Holiday Lodges in Devon Unveiled as Beverley Holidays Celebrates 70 years

Beverley Holidays in Paignton has celebrated the official opening of its new Harbour Heights development as the family-owned business marks its 70th anniversary.
The collection of 12 luxury holiday lodges was officially opened by Torbay’s Civic Mayor, Hazel Foster, during a special celebration attended by tourism leaders, community representatives, team members and four generations of the Jeavons family.
New Harbour Heights Development Officially Opens
The ribbon-cutting ceremony marked the launch of Harbour Heights, a million-pound development offering luxury holiday lodges with panoramic views across the English Riviera coastline.
The opening coincided with an important milestone for Beverley Holidays, exactly 70 years since Joseph Stanley Jeavons purchased the 21-acre farmland that would become one of Devon’s best-known holiday parks.
Today, Beverley Holidays is a five-star destination offering holiday lodges and caravans to rent and own, together with glamping accommodation and touring pitches.
A Leading Destination for Holiday Lodges in Devon
Guests at Beverley Holidays enjoy a wide range of facilities, including two outdoor swimming pools, an indoor pool, live entertainment, two restaurants and a café.
The new Harbour Heights development represents the most ambitious investment the family business has made to date.

Celebrating 70 Years of Family Ownership
Beverley Holidays Director Nicola Furneaux said Harbour Heights reflects the values that have shaped the business over seven decades.
“This exclusive collection of beautifully crafted holiday homes has been carefully curated to combine luxury lodge living with some of Devon’s most spectacular views,” she said.
“This is a hugely significant moment for Beverley Holidays, and Harbour Heights combines the qualities of high standards and great value that have always defined our family business.
“To officially open Harbour Heights on the anniversary of my grandfather purchasing the original farmland makes the occasion incredibly special.
“Seeing four generations of our family come together to celebrate this milestone with Beverley’s many friends and colleagues is something I’ll never forget.
“I think my grandfather would be immensely proud to see how his vision has evolved, and how future generations of families will continue making memories here,” she added.
Four Generations Continuing a Family Legacy
Helping lead the business alongside Nicola is her sister and co-director Claire Flower, who also serves as National Chair of the Holiday and Residential Parks Association (HARPA).
The anniversary celebrations highlighted not only Beverley Holidays’ continued investment in premium accommodation, but also the family’s long-standing commitment to providing memorable holidays on the English Riviera.
