Introduction From The Holiday Park

Tanglewood is a family run park on the fringes of the Lake District National Park. It is situated 1 mile inland from the small port of Silloth on the Solway Firth, with a beautiful view of the Galloway Hills.

Silloth has an extensive sandy beach, which provides fishing, swimming, a golf course, tennis and a paddling pool. Large modern holiday homes are available from March to October, with car parking beside each home.

Each home is fully equipped, except for bed linen, and comprises end bedrooms, electric lighting, H&C water, toilet, shower, gas fire, cooker, fridge, colour TV and duct heating in both bedrooms. We also have the facilities for tents/camping. units, awnings, cars, etc.

The modern tourist facilities comprise toilets, hot and cold water in washbasins, hot showers, shaver and dryer points. Chemical disposal points, dishwashing facilities and an automatic laundry room are also available.

There is a play area for the children with sandpits and swings. The Coach House has been converted into a licensed lounge with an adjoining children’s games room.

Pets are welcome and free of charge, but must be kept under control at all times. It is greatly appreciated if dogs are exercised off the park in interest of hygiene.
