Introduction From The Holiday Park

Welcome to Pinewoods,

Pinewoods Holiday Park is set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the North Norfolk Coast, three-quarters of a mile from the town of Wells-next-the-Sea. The Park is bounded on the north by a strip of mature Corsican pines, nestling beside the beautiful sandy beach, with its attractive beach huts (available to rent). To the east lies the entrance to Wells harbour, with its fishing boats and sailing dinghies.

Miles of unspoilt beach and woodland walks sweep along the coast to Holkham Bay to the west. The area provides the visitor with ample opportunities to enjoy peace and solitude – it is a bird-watchers’ paradise, being within one of the largest National Nature Reserves in the country. A minute after leaving your caravan on foot you are in the woods, within two you are on the beach. Heading south to the town you can walk along the sea wall, or take the miniature steam train.

As part of our effort to improve the Environment for you and our resident wildlife, we have landscaped the Park and planted over 5,000 shrubs and trees. Facilities include two refurbished toilet/shower blocks, with free solar heated hot water and underfloor heating to keep you warm in the low season. Shops include a licensed minimarket, fish and chips, caravan and gas sales and a launderette.

Other activities include a pitch & putt course, crazy golf, boating lake, pool room and trampolines, windsurfing, water skiing and bicycle hire.

Off the A149 coast road 0.75 mile north of the quay at Wells Next The Sea, follow signs for the beach.
