Harford Bridge Holiday Park lies within the beautiful Dartmoor National Park with views of Cox Tor, yet is just 2 miles from the bustling historic market town of Tavistock – Sir Francis Drake’s birthplace. There is a daily pannier market and shops selling a wide range of local produce, essentials, clothes, gifts and antiques.
The River Tavy flows through the park and together with Harford Bridge forms the boundary offering riverside and other level spacious camping pitches. All hot water and showers are included in our tariff. Our luxury self-catering caravan holiday homes are set well apart with their own garden area and adjacent parking. They are all fully equipped, centrally heated and double glazed for all year holidays. Heat, light and all bedding are included.
The park is a haven for wildlife, not forgetting our resident ducks which roam free. It is filled with hedgerows, small copses, ferns and wild flowers which gained us the prestigious David Bellamy Gold Conservation Award which we have held for the past 8 years. There is plenty of open space and it is an ideal location for pony trekking, golf, walking, cycling, bird watching and visiting Devon and Cornwall’s beautiful beaches and tourist attractions or just relaxing in the peaceful surroundings.
On the park we have a tennis court, table tennis, fly fishing, children’s play area and separate dog exercise field; laundry facilities and information room with free library and television.
Level, sheltered park set in Dartmoor National Park with delightful views of the moor. The river Tavy forms a boundary.
2 miles north of Tavistock off A386 Okehampton Road, take the Peter Tavy turn.
