We are a working beef and sheep farm adjacent to the moor in an unique position with spectacular views. A WALKERS PARADISE with many moorland, woodland and riverside walks starting and finishing at the farm.

For a small site we have good facilities with a quality heated toilet block with free hot showers, hand and hair dryers. Men's shaver points. Coin operated Laundrette. Baby changing room. Category two disabled facilities. Payphone. A children's monkey puzzle play area. Electric hook ups. Hard standings. Calor and camping gas for sale.

The village of Winsford is one mile from Halse. It has an excellent shop and post office, with a good range of groceries, veg and fruit. Enjoy the thatched Royal Oak Inn with bar and restaurant meals. Tea gardens, Garage for repairs. Village church.

On Exmoor there are many things to see and do with coastal resorts - Minehead, Porlock and Lynmouth. National Trust properties - Dunster Castle and Arlington Court. See the Doone Valley that inspired R.D. Blackmore to write his famous book Lorna Doone.

To find us we are sign posted from the A396 Minehead/Tiverton road. Turn off the A396 road for Winsford. In the village turn left and bear left in front of the Royal Oak Inn. Keep up hill for one mile and our entrance is immediately after the cattle grid on the left.
