Haytop Country Park is 65 acres in extent and lies in the Lower Derwent Valley with woodlands, meadows, two streams and 1 mile of the River Derwent on its eastern boundary. Woodland and riverside walks.
Directions
M1 exit 28, take A38 towards Derby, after 6 miles turn onto A610, follow signs to Ambergate. At Hurt Arms Hotel right onto A6 for 3 miles to Whatstandwell bridge signal left, cross bridge and left immediately. From North A6, turn right just before Whatstandwell bridge after Telecom kiosk on right.
