DARWIN FOREST COUNTRY PARK, MATLOCK The Park At Darwin Forest Country Park, you will be able to relax and experience some of nature’s finest treasures. Set amongst beautiful mature pine trees in mixed woodland, the 44 acre Park is situated between Matlock and Bakewell in the Derbyshire Dales, only four miles from Chatsworth House. * Delightful countryside of the Peak District for walking and touring The superb facilities at Darwin Forest include Evolution Health & Fitness leisure centre with indoor heated swimming pool, gym, spa, sauna, steam room and hair and beauty therapy treatments; the Forester's Inn serving delicious bar meals, tennis courts, mini-golf, games room and children's outdoor adventure playgrounds, an orienteering course, bike hire, as well as a forest trail and acres of woodland to explore. Many other activities are available locally including golf, fishing, horse riding and sailing. Pinelodge Accommodation The choice of luxury Pinelodges includes beautifully furnished self-catering accommodation with one, two, three or four bedrooms. * Bed linen, duvets and towels provided. The Hideaway and Elvaston lodges sleep two people in double en-suite bedroom. The Elvaston's luxurious bathroom has its own sauna and a corner spa bath. Pets welcome in Hideaway lodges. The Haddon and Riber lodges sleep up to 4 people in two bedrooms, one double and one twin, with separate shower room, ideal for families or couples sharing. Riber lodges also have dishwashers, CD player and are kept pet free. Pets welcome in Haddon lodges. The Riber Skyline lodges offer a superior specification to the traditional Riber, inclduing flatscreen TV, dishwasher, luxury fitted bathroom with shower over a bath, and contemporary furnishings. The Hardwick lodges sleep 6 and offer spacious three-bedroom accommodation, in two double bedrooms (one with en-suite shower room), one twin bedroom, separate bathroom. The Peveril lodges sleep up to 6 and offer a little more luxury with double bedroom with en-suite shower room, two twin bedrooms, CD player, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Peveril lodges are kept pet free. Hassop and Hartington lodges sleep up to 8 in two double and two twin bedrooms, separate bathroom and shower room, fridge/freezer included in the spacious kitchen/dining area. Hartington Skyline and Peveril Skyline lodges offer a superior specification to the traditional lodges, including luxury fitted bathrooms, dishwasher, flatscreen TV, and contemporary furnishings. Friday, Saturday or Monday start days are available. Short Breaks As well as week long holidays, short breaks are available priced at 70% of the full weekly price (either 3 night weekend breaks Friday to Monday or 4 night midweek breaks Monday to Friday).
