Bushmills, County Antrim
Situated in beautiful rural surroundings, Ballyness is a small exclusive park with touring pitches. Most of the spacious all weather pitches have views over the ponds or countryside.
The traditional cottage style toilet block has a very modern feel inside and is fully equipped and spotlessly clean, with disabled facilities and a separate family bathroom. The toilet block is centrally heated for the cooler evenings and early mornings.
The park provides a peaceful and relaxing holiday where you can take a stroll around the ponds or a five minute dander to the shops. There is also an 8-acre dog walk planted with native trees.
The area is planted with native trees to attract local birds and wildlife. The meadow ponds are fed from St Columb's Rill, a small stream which wanders for miles though peaty soil and eventually feeds the Old Bushmills Distillery to give the Irish whiskey its unique flavour. Our conservation efforts have been awarded with a Gold David Bellamy Conservation Award.
Ballyness is ideally situated to explore the spectacular North Antrim Coast - 1/2 mile from the world's oldest whiskey distillery in Bushmills, 2 miles from the Giant's Causeway, a World Heritage Site. Also close by are Dunluce Castle, Carrick-a-rede rope bridge and sandy beaches at Portballintrae and Portrush.
There are plenty of activities nearby for everyone - golfing, fishing, horse riding, walking, cycle paths, indoor children's playgrounds.
Multi-award winning park in beautiful rural surroundings. Fully serviced hardstand pitches. Centrally heated amenity building, family bathroom, easy access shower room, playpark and wildlife ponds.
