For families especially, parks provide the ideal setting for carefree, fresh-air camping holidays without trading convenience and comfort.

Areas of interest include:

Berkshire
The county is often referred to as "Royal Berkshire" due to its many regal landmarks such as Windsor Castle and the annual horse racing festival known as "Royal Ascot". Gentle countryside and picturesque villages abound, many set in delightful locations along the banks of the River Thames.

Sussex
The county of Sussex, or East and West Sussex as it is now divided, fronts the English Channel that separates us from the rest of Europe. A historic and picturesque place, famed for its rich Norman Heritage, the county was home to the bloody Battle of Hastings in 1066.

Kent
From pretty seaside resorts like Margate to beautiful ‘showpiece’ villages like Brechley and Broadstairs, Kent is a county well known for its unique and fascinating attractions. Notably, the county has over 50 museums, several stately homes and a large collection of oast houses.

Buckinghamshire
Buckinghamshire is a quintessential English county, offering delightful walks around its rolling hills, unique market towns and quaint little villages. This rural county boasts many beautiful stately homes, including the award winning Waddesdon Manor and Bletchley Park.

Oxfordshire
A beautiful county famous for its ‘City of Dreaming Spires’ Oxfordshire offer a wealth of magnificent architecture and literary connections. The former home of ‘The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe’ author C S Lewis provides a unique and memorable visit for adults and children alike.

Surrey
The county of Surrey in the South East England is home to some of the most stunning examples of Elizabethan architecture in the UK. The pretty town of Guildford, with its famous cathedral, castle and parkland is well worth a visit for any budding historian.
